Most monks only trust in the force of their body and soul. Only few individuals are prepared to give up the traditional monk education to attune themself to a special pair of monk weapons. They know every aspect of their weapons and combine accuracy with almost lightning speed, making themself a deadly whirlwind of power.
Although most candidates have monk levels, many multiclass with Fighter or Ranger to improve their martial prowess. Rogues also join their ranks blending a flurry of strikes and sneak attack. Few other classes are suitted to the way of a Whirling Master. Designer Note: Idea of this prestige class was to increase the effect of a melee fighter, using unusual weapons like the kama and other monk weapons. Up to now, there’s no class that encourage to use them because even the monk strongly favor unarmed combat. Armor and Weapon Proficiency: The Whirling Master does not gain any additional armor or weapon proficiency. None of his class features function when wearing any armor or while he is carrying a load heavier than light.
Monk Abilities: Whirling Master class levels stack for the purpose of determing the monk's Unarmored Speed, AC Bonus and his Flurry of Blows Ability.
Whirlwind: A Whirling Master may act as if affected by a haste spell for one round once a day. Activating this ability is a free action. He can use this ability twice at 3rd level and three times at level 5. This bonus doesn't stack with similar effects.
Double Dash: The Whirling Master gains the benefit of the Improved Two Weapon Fighting feat, when wielding the Monk Weapon for which he has taken the Weapon Focus.
Ki Weapon (Su): As a move action the whirling master may empower one or both of his weapons with his inner Ki. The weapon(-s) are treated as either lawful, adamantine, cold iron or magic for a noumber of rounds equal his class level + his wisdom modifier. This replace any material-related benefits the weapon may have. When using Shurikans, this benefit applies to up to 50 Shurikans.
Dripple Dash (Ex): The Whirling Master gains the benefit of the Greater Two Weapon Fighting feat, when wielding the Monk Weapon for which he has taken the Weapon Focus.
Hammer: The Whirling Master may treat his signatured Weapons as if they were one-handed and only suffers the normal penality for fighting with two light weapons.
Note: A monk may continue taking monk levels after gaining levels in this prestige class. A Whiling Master faces the same restrictions as the monk has got in question of alignment and his monk abilities.
